PUTRAJAYA, June 9 (Bernama)--A total of 56 students and 14 teachers from 14 schools were chosen to take part in the Creative Teens Development Camp 2014 took place in Cyberjaya from June 1 until June 5.

The camp was jointly organized by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the Ministry of Education Malaysia, Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) and the National Arts, Culture and Heritage Academy (Aswara).

In a statement recently, MCMC said all the schools chosen to take part in this camp are state level winners of the League of Creative Teens 2013 Competition.

"The purpose of this camp is to give exposure to students on online content development opportunities in Malaysia," it said.

It said the agenda for the development camp includes a short video-making process from its early production to post-production.

Participants were also taken on a tour to various agencies and studios such as RTM, Astro, Media Prima and KRU Studios as exposure to the production process and broadcasting activities in the country.

"Cooperation among agencies and the synergies displayed between MCMC, Aswara and RTM increased the participants' awareness of the role that each agency plays in developing the content industry in Malaysia," it added.
