The Research Enterprise and Scholarship Department (RESD) plays a pivotal role in facilitating research collaborations with Higher Educational Institution (HEI) to support MCMC’s interest, and its mandate to improve the Communications and Multimedia (C&M) industry in Malaysia. RESD manages MCMC’s research grant, namely, the Digital Society Research Grant (DSRG). From pre-award to post-award, the department oversees the entire process of DSRG to ensure successful implementation of research projects. The department is also responsible in disseminating research findings via MCMC Research Symposium, Communicate@MCMC and Media Matters. Additionally, RESD also supports other ad hoc research-related works that may not be directly related to DSRG research works such as RESD's involvement as secretariat in the Disrupting Harm Collaborative Research Initiative and Survey on PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia Package.
