Modules	Topic	Learning Outcome
Cyberlaw Essentials I: Malaysian Legal System and Overview of Cyber Statutes.	Introduction to Cyberlaw and the Malaysian Legal System Sources and Types of Law Relevant to Cyberlaw Overview of Major Cyberlaw Statutes in Malaysia	At the end of this session, participants will be able to: i. Explain the fundamental structure of the Malaysian legal system and its classification of laws, including written, unwritten, and customary laws. ii. Identify key Malaysian cyberlaw statutes, such as the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, Computer Crimes Act 1997, and Personal Data Protection Act 2010. iii. Analyse the legal implications of cyber-related offences, including defamation, online fraud, and intellectual property infringement in cyberspace.
Cyberlaw Essentials 2:	The Concept of Cyberspace and Digital Citizenship Legal Issues in Cyberspace – Online Contracts, Privacy, IP, and Cybercrimes Cyberlaw as a Branch of Law (Criminal & Civil Perspectives)	At the end of this session, participants will be able to: i. Define the concept of cyberspace and cyberlaw, understanding how traditional legal principles apply to digital interactions. ii. Evaluate different legal issues arising in cyberspace, including online contracts, digital identity fraud, and freedom of speech online. iii. Apply cyberlaw principles to real-world scenarios involving cybercrimes, online disputes, and jurisdictional challenges.
Cyberlaw Essentials 3: Digital Privacy and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)	Understanding Privacy and the Right to Data Protection The Personal Data Protection Act 2010 – Key Provisions & Compliance Privacy Challenges and Best Practices in the Digital Age	At the end of this session, participants will be able to: i.  Understand the concept of digital privacy and its importance in the modern digital landscape. ii.  Explain the key principles and requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010, including data subject rights and data controller responsibilities. iii. Assess the risks and legal consequences of personal data breaches, data misuse, and non-compliance with privacy regulations.
