Is there any penalty if a person offers for sale, sells or has in his possession with a view to sell any communications equipment which is not certified?

Yes. Accordance to Regulation 16 of Communications and Multimedia (Technical Standards) 2000, which mentioned a person who commit such an offence shall, on conviction, be a liable to a fine not exceeding three hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term of not exceeding three years or to both.
