Commencing on 30 June 2025, we have kicked off the MCMC-APT 5G Evolution Masterclass— a 5-day programme on Innovation, Security, and Industrial Applications Towards 6G, with participants from over 10 countries, including Hong Kong, Vietnam, Fiji, and Nepal.
The masterclass session opened with welcoming remarks by Ms. Malini, Head of MCMC Academy, and Ms Shreya Pradhan, APT representative, accompanied by Farlina Said, Director (CTP), ISIS Malaysia and Prof. Emeritus Dr. Tharek Abd. Rahman, MCMC Academy Advisor.

Emerging Technology & Trends on AI, AR/VR, IoT, and smart cities
Dynamic panel discussion on Future Innovation in Mobile Communications, covering Technology Roadmap, Emerging Technologies on Mobile Services and the 6G Paradigm Shifts
The day concluded with a welcoming and networking dinner, providing participants from over 10 countries the opportunity to exchange perspectives and foster cross-border collaboration — a key hallmark of this regional programme.
Upcoming sessions will explore Regulatory and policy frameworks, spectrum and cybersecurity challenges, industrial 5G use cases, and the roadmap towards 6G.
