Malaysia has once again earned global recognition.
The ASEAN 5G Skills Framework and Capacity Development Platform, led by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) under the leadership of the Ministry of Communications, was named the Winner Project under WSIS Action Line C1 at the WSIS Prizes 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland.
This marks the second consecutive year an MCMC-led initiative has received a WSIS Prize, following the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) in 2025.
