The International Regulatory Conference (IRC) 2026 brings together regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, academia and international partners to exchange perspectives on strengthening digital governance in an increasingly connected world.
The conference was officiated by the Minister of Communications, YB Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Communications, YB Teo Nie Ching, and the Chairman of the MCMC, Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din.
Under the theme “Shaping the Next Digital Era: Regulation, Resilience and Trust”, IRC 2026 underscores the importance of building a trusted digital ecosystem where innovation is supported by responsible regulation, online safety and strong collaboration among stakeholders.
As Malaysia accelerates its digital transformation, IRC 2026 reaffirms the nation’s commitment to developing forward-looking policies that strengthen public trust, encourage innovation and deepen international cooperation towards a safer, more resilient and inclusive digital future.
