UNIVERSAL SERVICE PROVISION ANNUAL REPORT 2023

In accordance with Regulation 36 of the Communications and Multimedia (Universal Service Provision) Regulations 2002 ("USP Regulations"), the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission ("MCMC") hereby publishes and has conveyed to the Minister of Communications copy of this report with financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023.

CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

2023 has been a year that has seen a renewal and recalibration of our PEDi initiatives. This initiative which at its core provides collective Internet service to the Rakyat nationwide, has now evolved into becoming centres of learning, providing training for entrepreneurs, acting as community hubs for social upliftment, and transforming lives on every front using both communications technology and human interaction.
